Gavin is principal at Absolute Accounting Services and has been in the Accounting profession since 1986. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in Commerce. Gavin is a member of several professional bodies including CPA Australia, and is a Registered Tax Agent.
Gavin contributes to various discussion and technical groups, including being the Co-Chair of the ATO Tax Practitioners Stewardship Group, Chair of the CPA NSW Public Practice Committee and a member of the CPA National Public Practice Advisory Committee. He has also presented in several forums including live webinars, live radio, Public Practice Program Workshops and My Firm My Future for CPA Australia.
Katrina is one of our Senior Accountants who looks after all aspects of Business and Individual Clients including Companies, Trusts and Partnerships.
Katrina has been a valuable member of our practice since 2005 and with over 15 years experience can provide you with all the right advice you may need including assistance with setting up all aspects of your business entity including business names, ABNs and recording keeping requirements.
Katrina is our ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) and ASIC connect expert, which involves incorporation and compliance of all statutory requirements. She also has extensive knowledge in Xero and MYOB and is Xero certified.
Kiarne has been with Absolute Accounting Services since July 2011. Kiarne first started with us as our receptionist, but now runs the office. Kiarne is the main contact point for all Admin, Human Resources and Bookkeeping queries at Absolute Accounting Services.
Kiarne is certified in Xero and has completed her Certificate IV in Accounting and her Certificate IV in bookkeeping.
Since having two children since 2017, Kiarne now works Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Helen is one of our Senior Accountants responsible for Small Business Clients, complex individuals and Self-managed Super Funds.
Helen has been a valuable member of our practice since 2018 with over 20 years’ experience in Public Practice and can assist with navigating complex superannuation issues and compliance, and is well equipped to assist with any issue facing small business ranging from GST, capital gains tax and general taxation law. Helen completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting in 1998, and then undertook further study to obtain the Chartered Accountant qualification in 2001.
Helen works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Julie joined our team in April 2019. With an extensive background in bookkeeping and MYOB, Julie is one of our Accountants who assists with Sole Traders, Individual Tax Returns, Partnership Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements.
Julie is Certified in Xero and has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
